- 1. Single click on "Start"
- 2. Highlight on the words "All Programs"
- 3. Highlight on the words "Accessories"
- 4. Highlight on the words "System Tools"
- 5. Highlight and single click on "Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)"
- 6. You should see the following picture
- 7. In the right hand corner, near the top single click the word "Tools"
- 8. A drop down box should appear
- 9. In that drop down find the words "Internet Options"
- 10. Highlight and single click those words
- 11. Somewhere on your screen you should see the following picture
- 12. In the upper right corner click on the tab that says "Advanced"
- 13. Once in the advanced section use the vertical scroll bars to scroll down the list until you find the words "Enable third-party browser extensions*"
- 14. Uncheck this box and hit "Apply" and then "Ok"
- 15. Close out of Internet Explorer and reopen Internet Explorer and should you be good to go and on your way

Internet Explorer Quiting Before Loading
Has your Internet Explorer browser ever been stopped working after running and installing Windows Updates? More specifically has your Internet Explorer browser started to open but then quickly end? Instead of finding out if your computer will survive a 10 foot drop out the window or if it will survive in a fight against your sledge hammer, your friendly neighborhood IT department has a solution for you. Chances are your Internet Explorer is not responding due to some 3rd party browser extensions that may have been downloaded when installing some programs or some 3rd party updates. This is a very easy fix. Make sure you are at the desktop and do the following:
